You are required to answer only one question from this section. Your answer should not be less than 450 words. All questions carry equal marks. You are advised to spend about 45 minutes on this section.
1. Write an article suitable for publication in a national daily on the factors responsible for pour reading culture among students and proffer solutions to them.
2. You are a chief speaker in a debate on the topic: The Card Reader should Continue to he Used in the Conduct of Elections in Nigeria. Write your argument for or against the motion.
3. A new chairman has been elected in your local government area. As the president of a youth development association in your community, write a letter congratulating him on his victory, highlighting some of the problems faced by the youths in the community and suggesting how these problems could be solved.
4. Narrate a story that illustrates the saying: An empty barrel makes the loudest noise.
